The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
